Use SQLite memory when one Node.js process needs durable agent conversations without a database service.

ensure() creates and validates the tables. Pass path: ':memory:' for tests that should disappear with the process. The package is ESM-only and loads bun:sqlite automatically under Bun (enforcing the foreign_keys pragma that driver cannot set at open time), falling back to Node's built-in node:sqlite DatabaseSync API elsewhere.

A caller-owned database can be injected through { database }: any driver implementing the structural SqliteMemoryDatabaseLike surface works, including compatible custom implementations.

Keep the same sessionId, userId, and relevant metadata when continuing a conversation; those values form the default storage scope.
